Abusive Indonesian Nanny

"Don't do unto others, if u don't want others do unto you".

This video was sent to me by Sri Lankan friend. I went to the wash room that time, and I saw her watching a video. I was shocked regarding the content of the video, and asked her if she can Bluetooth it to me.

According to my friend, the lady at the video is an Indonesian National and nanny of the kid. I was just perplexed who videoed it and  how this video spread from one mobile to another.

Mostly I heard from the news, maids suffered maltreatment from their abusive employers, some were being raped by their male employers, and some were murdered unknowingly who were the suspects.

But based on this video, I can not blame employers if they beat their own maids and put them into jail.  Some maids are really rude and ill-mannered. Some act like a boss if the employer is not around. Worst is, as what the video shows, some babysitters beat kids behind the back of their employers.

We should love our work no matter how hard it is to please everybody. Not all people around can easily get decent job and get good salary. We should appreciate our work, because hard workings really pay off in the near future it may not be in cash but overflowing blessings will come our way.

Gaining Freedom

As we celebrate our Independence Day today, June 12, we give honor and salute all heroes and great people behind this freedom we are savoring right now.

We Filipinos are free to express our own feelings, opinions, actions and contradictions towards others. We are no longer slaves by other powerful countries. We are no longer manipulated by Western countries on what to do.

Truth enough, Philippines was under Spain, Japan and United States’ governance way back centuries ago. Still nowadays, we still see and read on the streets names of establishments, towns, main roads which served as how influenced those three countries. Just like the name of New York St. in Cubao, Mexico in Pampanga, Kennon Road in Baguio, and the Death March in Bataan.

I am proud to be Filipino. Though some of us are already mixed in races, still the norms, mores, traditions and values run through our veins. When you turn your side left and right from North Pole to South, you will notice co-Filipino. A Filipino with his own identity, steadfast and has disposition in life. A single Filipino who fights for his rights as human being. A Filipino who can compete in any field whether battle of brain or beauty. A talented Filipino strikes everywhere despite the criticisms and bashers.
Many Filipinos became famous in their chosen careers that give honor in our beloved country.

If only the government and all administrative staffs leave their own personal intentions and hidden agendas  then I may say to myself……..Free Filipino, Free from Corruption………..Welcome Mabuhay

http://mypointsofview-miech1982.blogspot.com/2012/03/live-scene-at-ever-gotesco-mall.html

Soul Relationship...you know it's love when.......

Some people will have different thoughts on love and falling in love but I’m quite sure that one can find a lot of glaring commonalities such as these tell-tale signs. I researched, read some magazines and summarized it.

1. You think about how it  must be like to spend the rest of your life with your partner and no, you don’t look at it as simply being stuck with just one person, but rather, as a wonderful idea that you can’t wait to explore together.

2.  Even when surrounded by attractive people, your thoughts are always with your partner and how much premium you put on his happiness which you will not knowingly or deliberately crush by being thoughtless and unfaithful. That shows both commitment and devotion.

3. Passion and fireworks remain even after the “honeymoon” stage has passed. They say that at this day and age, sustaining a relationship has become such as arduous task that only a few manage to keep it together.  If, after the initial jolt of excitement has waned yet you still find reasons  to want to be with your partner everyday, then you are definitely on the something real……and lasting.

4. You make a lot of room in your life for your partner and that includes both his strong and weak points, as well as his peculiarities. There is also the desire to understand and compromise, both every clear indications of selfishness which will prove to be very valuable in the long run especially when challenges start to crop up.

It is really inspiring to write an article about love, relationships, dating and meeting soul mates. I read lots of action, suspense, love and romance pocketbooks and novels.  Falling in love is such a wonderful feeling. But once someone broke your heart it triples the pain. As the old cliché goes, you don’t know the feeling to be loved if you never try to love someone.

I wrote this article not only for myself but also to all viewers and readers of this blog.

The last time I read a pocketbook, these are the sentences that caught my curiosity: ”Sex should never be the reason to be with someone.  Love should always be the reason why you are with someone. Great sex should always be just a bonus.”

Moreover, “It’s not you, it’s me”, actually, it is “You and Me”.  A relationship is about two people. So whether it’s a smooth-sailing or a nerve-wracking one, a relationship’s progress and decline depends on both partners. While others claim that going from “You and I” to a constant “We” is healthy and understandable, couples still need to give each other time to grow.
Here are few tips on how to smoothen the edges and enjoy a healthy and lasting relationship with your partner.

1. Voice out your needs
2. Complement each other
3. Be passionate
4. Forgive and move on
5. Grow together by spending times apart

Heart-to-heart talk

You will dance with the man who probably can’t give you a garden full of flowers, but can certainly give you all his heart. You will dance with a man who insanely loves you and will marry you soon.

February 14, is a special day to all sweet lovers, romantically in love, honeymooners and engaged. On the other hand, to all bachelors and single ladies, it is also a time for planning a friendly date and celebrates Valentine’s Day in our own special way.

Somehow, engaged lady and wife giggles and feel  like floating in a cloud nine, when her fiancé or husband gives special attention and surprises on this day.

A woman romantically dreaming of her ideal man in the future, wishing that someday there is someone out of the blue who will give chocolates and bouquet of fresh flowers.

In my two years relationship with my first boyfriend, I envied ladies when their boyfriend gives special treatment on this “Love Month”.
It is not good to compare with others. I just felt sorry for myself. I thought having my first boyfriend, I can be proud of.

Despite his shortcomings, I still love him that time. I may be late bloomer and started a relationship when I was 24. During those times I am happy at last there is someone who loves me and can protect me. But I was wrong.

It was a long story how I endured my hurt feelings with him as my boyfriend before the parting words.  I want to put all my pain from yesterday behind. I thought working abroad and be away from him will give some wake-up call and turn him into a new leaf. Unfortunately, it became worst.
A mutual friend informed me about his foolishness. At first, I cleared things about what I heard. I asked him but denied everything. In the end, due to call of conscience, he admitted and said sorry. At that time, I easily forgive him because I don’t love him anymore. But my pride was bruised and I was really hurt for trusting a “JERK”. We departed ways in 2008.

I broke-up with my first boyfriend but I gained more friends (women and guys). I didn’t have any suitors after separation, because I concentrated at work. I entertained text mates and chat mates when I came back home in Philippines in 2011. But still no luck finding the “right man”.

Now, Valentine’s Day again, I wholeheartedly dedicate my short article to all singles and married couples. I greet you Happy Valentine’s Day.  Couples must  love, respect, and treat well your partners. To all singles like me, we can still celebrate “Love Month” with our friends or family.
To my ideal man if you really exists here on earth this is for you, “My darling believe me, for me there is no one but you. Please love me too. And I am in love with you. Answer my prayer now, come to my dream and be real.”

Marks the Chinese New Year

Kung Hei Fat Choi

The most awaited big event among Chinese Communities not only in Asia but in every part of the world. On January 23, it marks the celebration of Chinese New Year. Every establishments displays different lucky charm to attract the Dragon.  Chinese traditions and customs are the highlights of this big event such as: giving “Ang-Pao”, displaying oranges on the table, preparing “Tikoy”, and other Chinese foods.

This is the year that all Chinese believe to be a lucky year. A Dragon is a legendary animal that lived in China and other Asian countries during the olden times. Oriental Dragon is commonly described to be an animal that brings luck. Unlike the Western Dragon, described to be a ferocious and destructive animal

The Dragon roars

"I have come to disperse the dark clouds for I am the center of all energy and I hold the power and glory. After all, I am the dragon."

Water Dragon is the least imperious of the five type: metal, wood, fire and earth. Being the least opinionated and selfish of the dragons, it is also democratic and liberal-minded, and can accept defeat and rejection with grace and without bitterness.

The Water Dragon is reputed to be inhibited, but progress is written all over its character.
Remember that the dragon magnifies both success and non-successes equally. Thank God water has a calming and beneficial effect on it.
